The United States should never have gotten involved in Ukraine. The military-industrial complex profited. The Biden Family grifted. USAID grafted. Ukraine suffered.

  7. Ok, Jan. To be clear, are you agreeing with this by posting it? Because if you are agreeing with it, then you are accepting that the entire nation of Ukraine would have become subjugated to Putin and annexed to Russia. Every Ukrainian would be subject to Putin and have no rights. That is the only outcome of this post.

If only he had the military experience, knowledge, and wisdom of a local Philly lawyer, then it would be ok for Saks to make any comment he’d like on the Ukraine situation. I don’t agree with his line about “never should have gotten involved”, but having read his other comments, I think that was just a mis worded comment. He’s previously said the Russian invasion would never of have happened under a different US administration.

Somebody is spending a lot of money to skewer Shapiro.

I don’t know about Bitter’s area, but south-central PA is full of anti-Shapiro billboards.

There are about 6 different ones, all saying things like “Shapiro promised xxxxxx, didn’t deliver”….. “do nothing Governor”…..”promised energy jobs, all going out of state”, etc. They all have an unflattering picture of Shapiro, and are obviously very professionally done ads.

They are up and down all the major highways.

Not sure if it done to “soften” his support for his run for another term or a run for President.

But I think Shapiro is vulnerable to the “do nothing” attack. The Senate is R and he is having trouble getting anything significant passed, he reneged on school vouchers after running in favor of them.

He just released a really weird video, seemingly to ingratiate himself with the base of the party who is suspicious of him.

  17. who said anything about unclear? I said it was mis worded. You know, inartfully crafted, probably in haste, like I’ve seen many people do on message boards and Twitter all the time, because it clearly contradicts what the guy has been saying previously. If he truly meant to say “we should never have gotten involved” with providing aid to the Ukrainians after they were invaded, then I think he’s clearly wrong.

  18. The Great Victor Davis Hanson tells the truth about why everyone is attacking Elon Musk –

“Have you noticed that the crescendo of hatred toward Elon Musk is becoming surreal?”

“We had a congresswoman from Ohio, her name was Marcy Kaptur, she recently said that she wasn’t sure where Elon Musk loyalties lay because he’d only been a citizen for 22 years.

Elon Musk is a naturalized citizen.

This is very interesting because remember the left says that people who are here illegally and not citizens should gain all of the protections and rights of citizens. They should be de-facto citizens. Anybody who would question a naturalized citizen’s loyalty according to the left would be xenophobic, nativist”

“This follows a whole series of personal attacks:

    – We had posters in Washington, D.C. saying, Eliminate Musk
    – We had a man arrested from Indiana online for promising, threatening to kill Elon Musk
    – Here in California, we have Representative Garcia, he was on television and he said that Elon Musk was a D-I-C-K, and when called on it he said you had to bring weapons, i.e. against Musk, for this bar fight. Weapons
    – Then we had this unhinged minister, Steve Caudle from Tennessee, he got up in his pulpit, and it was televised, and he said that Elon Musk was satanic, a devil, and sometimes you had to use violence to stop such devilry

“Democrats have turned on someone who has:

    – Saved the U.S. space program and will probably save two astronauts who otherwise would perish in space if it was left to the government program.
    – Who reinvented the entire auto industry
    – Who opened up all of social media with X

Democrats have turned this person into a demon, a disloyal demon, a traitor, someone that we smear and we slander all day long for what?

For saying that the $36 trillion in debt and the $1.5 to $2 trillion + Joe Biden in some years had $5 and $6 trillion deficits are unsustainable?

And through a series of revenue enhancements and drastic cuts of programs that are unnecessary, we can get near a balanced budget

He takes no money. He’s not confirmed as the head of a government agency, but of course there’s all sorts of deputies and heads of agencies that require no confirmation, including the National Security Advisor of the United States of America.”

“I think it’s time to stop this because if you continue this rhetoric, somebody as this person in Indiana or this minister in Tennessee is going to openly call for violence if they have not already against one of the most iconic Americans in our history.

The Russians provide them with food, aide and other assistance. Are these “refugees” merely former Russian nationals that were relocated to the Ukraine during the old Soviet Union days that are now returning to mother Russia or actual Ukrainian nationals? They must be former Soviet nationals otherwise it’s a head scratcher. I don’t remember such large numbers of the south Vietnamese seeking refuge in the invading north, nor did the Northerners seek refuge in the invading south during our civil war. Interesting statistic in any event

That’s the problem with addictive thinking as well, as addicts can’t escape their own compulsive thought train and thus keep on doing what they are doing. 61. Fla2025, I posted a comment written on another blog positing the U.S. was problematic in initiating aggression in other countries. Although those weren’t my words, it often is the case that America’s hands have not always been clean in promoting overseas color revolutions, in order to initiate regime change. That certainly was examplified in the circumstances surrounding the 2014 Ukrainian election, with Victoria Nuland’s guidance. And, now by looking into the USAID expenditures we are seeing how our monies are frequently spent In more malevolent ways than ones having charitable intent.

Anyway, posting such pieces for discussion instantly sets Bitter off in the direction of initiating a hostile reaction towards that person.
