Sympathy is when someone understands what another person is going through and feels sorrow or pity toward them.
Empathy is the ability to intimately feel and see another’s suffering, not just through understanding what they are going through but by being able to put themselves in another’s shoes.
I can understand how government employees are going through a difficult time. But I don’t feel bad for them. So, I’d say I have empathy for them but not sympathy.

With everything that is going on in the world and nation, I am amazed that Trump has plenty of time to sell his Trump Bibles, sneakers, watches, men’s perfumes, small cloth swatches of the suit he wore when he did this or that, etc., etc.
Plus, time to waste by going down a goofy rabbit holes to rename the Gulf of Mexico, and threaten to invade Panama and Greenland, take over the Gaza Strip, and force Canada to become the 51st state.
I expect him to soon announce he is removing the ailing Pope and naming himself the head of the Catholic Church.
He is truly an unprincipled nut job.
But even nut jobs can accomplish some good things. And he is a better alternative than the DemCrazy capital N.U.T.jobs whose goal is to collapse America.
Sad it has come to this…we had/have better alternatives, but the voters do not chose to go that direction.

So there is someone out there arguing that the Olympic games must be made genderless, all athletes competing in same events regardless of birth gender, and they must be combined with the paralympic games.
Imagine watching the ice hockey competition with someone out there on the ice in a chair mounted on ice skates….wait, maybe this could work. Get some 800 pound disabled person in an ice-skating chair to be the goalie. All he would have to do is sit there and block the entire goal.

I misplaced my checkbook. Been looking everywhere. Finally found it in back seat of my car.
Went to turn in the key for safe deposit box at the bank. They said where is the second key? I said I only got one key. They said, no, we always give two keys.
If you do not turn in both keys, there is a $25 charge.
Been looking in all the nooks, cranny, drawers, etc. and FOUND the other key.
In my search I have found, in many various places, about 50 other keys I have no idea what they are to or for. i will sell the whole lot to the highest bidder.
I also found a bunch of guitar picks in a little pouch, various lapel pins I had misplaced, and other priceless things.
This is truly a great day.

By the way, the allegation was that he made a comment about “tens”, not “teens.” Big difference in theory. The “teens” allegation came directly from jason as he managed to outdo the Tucker Carlson guy.

I would not have figured jason would follow someone like Nick Sortor. I had not heard of him but he appears to work for Tucker Carlson. His feed is fill of the usual Ukraine conspiracies and lots of retweets of Holocaust denier Nick Posebiec.
So, I would be a bit skeptical this guy has some sort of secret audio of things that he claims Swalwell told him, but nonetheless he said nothing about “teens” (a la Matt Gaetz) but about “tens” , which refers to something very different.
