Is it not an issue that 1 district judge can halt the work of the nations executive simply by declaring something, in his/her opinion, unconstitutional? Shouldn’t the President, and the citizens of this country, expect an expeditious ruling by the higher courts to facilitate action one way or the other? Does the President have to force the issue by disobeying the order, or should the President wait for some DOJ employee to get off their arse and get a hearing?

Senator Tom Coburn, back during the Tea Party days, attempted valiantly to expose a lot of what we have found out in the first three weeks of the 2nd Trump Presidency…….i suspect that the majority of his fellow Congress-critters had a similar reaction as Jason and Bitterlaw, while very few demanded more action like Tina wants.
We all saw what happened to Coburns attempts at structural reform.

Here is where I would love to be able to say I spent hours last night combing through thousands of lines of html coding, and finally found the cause of the problems yesterday, and spent another two hours rewriting the code so HHR would be back to normal.
But in the end, it just started working again on its own. I had nothing to do with it. So thanks for your praise of my efforts, but jason can go back to disparaging me, as I won’t take credit for something I didn’t do.

Justice is not blind, that is a crock. If all cases were decided on merits, you wouldn’t have most SCOTUS decisions split among conservative vs. liberal votes.

Meanwhile, Biden got away with just ignoring the decision of the SCOTUS. I am not calling for our side to do that. But threatening this judge with impeachment while trying to go about the proper appeal is a good thing, as it highlights how outrageous this is.
But there is no way this country will survive if the left gets to play by one set of rules, which is basically they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, lawlessly, when our side has to play by all the rules.
If that is the playing field, then we have already lost and might as well pack it up.
I am not saying that we resort to breaking the law, but when the other side so outrageously violates the separation of powers, it makes sense to point that out as loudly as possible.

The most recent audit of the embattled disaster response agency claimed it mismanaged nearly $10 billion during the COVID pandemic between 2020 and 2023.
FEMA even approved a grant of $1.1 billion despite it only being supported by only a single piece of paper with no itemized costs, a Jan. 30 audit by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General found.
