NYC the racist xenophobe thinks maybe ONE SC judge might agree with him.
I think the vote would be 9-0.
NYC is also a compulsive liar that denies he thinks some citizens are “better” than others.
If he didn’t think that, why would he tell me, knowing I was not born in the US but that I am a citizen, that I should “go back to where i came from”.
If he acknowledged me as American as he was, he wouldn’t say that.

I see the HHR Supreme Court has ruled that the 14th Amendment allows birthright citizenship in all cases. I’ll await the ruling of the real Supreme Court.
This just in….sometimes politicians engage in battles that are not sure winners in order to raise the topic. Especially if they think it is a political winner.

I believe that Trump knows the EO will be overturned unanimously by the SC. There is no other way to read the amendment than to say, any person born on American soil is American, no matter the status of the parents. There is also this little thing called stare decisis, and this SC would be hard pressed to reverse a 100 year old precedent.
With that said, I think he did it to give his base fodder. A big chunk of red meat to salivate over while other things are going on. He, his cabinet, his lawyers, et al know he’s going to have it overturned…and fairly quickly I believe.
