The Cult wants it weaponized. They want Fauci, the J6 committee members, and lawyers who prosecuted Trump prosecuted and sent to prison. They want more lawfare on their terms.
I feel personally responsible for Bondi, since I was the first to suggest her name here at HHR, and of course I am gratified that Trump followed my recommendation.
But at this point, it really doesn’t seem like we are going to see anything unusual like Biden trying to stay on, or stepping down to give Kamala a few days of being the first woman president, or anything like that.
I agree with Trump that the best revenge is success. Don’t join the Dems in their lawfare abuses.
This is not to say that legitimate crimes committed by leftists should go unprosecuted and unpunished. And we will have to be ready with solid answers when the media says, “they did it to Trump and now Trump is doing it to them.”
Media is going full blast with the California Fire explanations:

The Biden (and Obama) used the DOJ & FBI to try to destroy a political opponent. Investigating these abuses and prosecuting any crimes discovered is not weaponization of these departments. It is the job of the departments.
Let’s take an example….our friend Liz Cheney may have suborned perjury and destroyed evidence. I believe those are crimes, and that they should be investigated. If there is enough evidence of guilt, she should be charged.
Weaponization would be seeking to find a way to charge Gavin Newsome with a crime in order to help defeat him in 2028.
Perhaps the difference between those situations is difficult for Bitter and Jason to grasp, but I suspect most get it.
I will say this as well. As one who tries to study the mindset of the younger generation…the key voting block of 18 to 30 year olds. They hate hypocrisy and being lied to. And they also hate grandstanding, and unfair application of laws and so forth. Its why Trump’s plan of revenge by success is huge. If he pulls that off, he will win over these voters. If Trump goes tit-for-tat and uses lawfare against Dems, then these voters will throw their hands up and say they are all the same.
This is why Dem senators absolutely blew it yesterday with the Pete Hegseth hearings. The 18 to 30 year olds watch that hearing and come away saying, the Dems sounded like hypocritical blow-hards, while the appointee, has made mistakes in his past, and has owned up to them.

I think you have to look at the coordination between the cases involving ny, ga, and dc regarding trump. This includes the Fuhrer Mukehead matter/russia hoax.
Also, there are credible accusations that Loon Cheney and others destroyed gubmental records and engaged in witness tampering.
The Senate is holding a nomination hearing for Russ Vought, President Trump’s nominee to return as his budget director. Russ is clearly the most qualified person for the job, as the Senate confirmed him to same job last time. Russ may stir controversy today because he wants to cut wasteful government spending—common sense to real Americans in real America but very foreign to the bipartisan pigs at the DC trough. The Senate must confirm Russ Vought quickly.
I read on occasion that there are J6 protesters in jail who haven’t been charged. Hopefully this is not true. If it is true, they should be charged or freed immediately. I would think we could all agree on that.
LOLOLOLOL Sen Coons said Chris Wray avoided politics as FBI director. This hearing obviously is more of a smear job against Kash Patel than a confirmation hearing for Pam Bondi.
There is no argument here. Hirono is the dumbest one.
AZIE HIRONO: Trump said illegal immigration is poisoning the blood of our nation. Do you agree? PAM BONDI: I went to the border and visited a r*pe crisis center. It was horrific. I’m sure you’ve been to the border as well, so you can answer that. HIRONO: I want to get to the next question.
“The Cult is not worried about weaponization of the DOJ, they just don’t want it weaponized against them. They are really no better than the Democrats.”
Listening to the Dems questioning both Bondi and Rubio about their concerns of Republicans weaponizing the DOJ is rich. Just like members of the J6 select committee now asking Biden for preemptive pardons for their obvious “miscarriage of justice” actions, the Dems now want preemptive assurances from Trump’s cabinet nominees that they will not do the same thing to Dems.
For those comparing lawfare tactics of the Dems – a purely politically-motivated legal action – with the illegal, unconstitutional weaponization of the law by the Biden Administration shows a severe lack of having a proportional judicial perspective. Furthermore, mocking support for addressing these previous injustices, calling people a “cult who wish that to happen, become empty insults by posters desperate to be noticed.
Also, there are credible accusations that Loon Cheney and others destroyed gubmental records and engaged in witness tampering.”
Liz Cheney is a sad pathetic loser who threw away a chance to be relevant on a losing TDS crusade that ended in epic failure. She lost her seat and her only relevance now is as a guest on CNN or MSNBC, and even there nobody really likes her.
In view of that I regard pursuing her as a waste of time and resources. I doubt the “destruction of records” could be attributed directly, or solely, to her, and pursuing the whole committee on this would be a futile endeavor.
I suppose if she can actually be shown to have witness tampered, and for that she would probably need Hutchinson to testify against her, go ahead and prosecute her. But without corroborating testimony by the “tampered witness” I doubt it would be successful.
Liz Cheney is a despicable woman. But she is actually small potatoes compared to the task ahead for the DOJ to be de-politicized.
I read on occasion that there are J6 protesters in jail who haven’t been charged.
People have continued to be arrested and jailed by Matthew Graves up to the day of his resignation – January 16, 2025. In a previous post I mentioned one J6 prisoner who has been incarcerated, put into solitary confinement for lengthy periods of time, without a trial or bond, for 4 years!
2 AM: Truce talks aided by Trump pressure and Hamas weakness, diplomat says. (Washington Post)
A diplomat briefed on the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas credited progress in the talks in part to the influence of President-elect Donald Trump, saying it was “the first time there has been real pressure on the Israeli side to accept a deal.
Should Trump be prosecuted for aiding and abetting Fauci? He invited him to every press conference for many weeks.
Bitter, every divit, small indentation in Trump’s presidency you shine a light on discrediting his judgment, intent and ultimately his presidency. Fauci was the head medical consultant in the Task Force assigned to and run by VP Pence. As time went on any mention of firing Fauci was met with warnings by posters here that it would be a damaging move. 2020 was a year of COVID uncertainly as to how to medically counter it, the protocols to use as guidance, and the medical professionals who could best dispense advice and public reassurance. At the time Fauci was respected and seen as the best person to do that. So, for you to even talk about “aiding and abetting” as a potential prosecutorial rationale doesn’t seem relevant.
There are increasing calls, deserved calls, for LA’s Mayor Bass to resign. A petition started yesterday had gathered a 150,000 signatures already to recall her. Another petition for recalling Gov. Newson is also out there.
This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies. I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones.
With this deal in place, my National Security team, through the efforts of Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will continue to work closely with Israel and our Allies to make sure Gaza NEVER again becomes a terrorist safe haven. We will continue promoting PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region, as we build upon the momentum of this ceasefire to further expand the Historic Abraham Accords. This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World!
We have achieved so much without even being in the White House. Just imagine all of the wonderful things that will happen when I return to the White House, and my Administration is fully confirmed, so they can secure more Victories for the United States!
911, I NEED A STRETCHER FOR THIS CALIFORNIA POLITICIAN. SENATOR ADAM SCHIFF: Were you asked to investigate Liz Cheney? PAM BONDI, A.G. NOMINEE: No. Why are we so worried about Liz Cheney? We should be more worried about the CRIME RATE in California – it’s through the roof! Your robberies are 87% higher than the national average! That’s what I want to be focused on as attorney general.
Jason says….”I suppose if she can actually be shown to have witness tampered, and for that she would probably need Hutchinson to testify against her, go ahead and prosecute her.”
At the time Fauci was respected and seen as the best person to do that.”
Ahhhh…yes, which was my point at the time too. I thought he brought gravitas to the task force and I thought he was being selfless in accepting a tough challenge he didn’t need to.
But as it turns out, both Trump and I were wrong about Fauci, who turned out to be a little partisan apparatchik more concerned in furthering government power and control than anything else.
My penalty was to be raked over the coals for years by Tgca and others here.
What is Trump’s penalty, considering the damage Fauci caused. Does the buck stop with him?
This reminds me of the Iran hostage crisis, where Reagan warned Iran the hostages better be released before he took office. Trump basically did the same thing with Hamas.
Jason says….”This reminds me of the Iran hostage crisis, where Reagan warned Iran the hostages better be released before he took office. Trump basically did the same thing with Hamas.”
That’s what it seems like to me. They’ve been captive for 15 months, and nothing happens until a few days before Trump comes in, and after Trump tells Hamas and Iran he’s gonna wreck the joint.
Yet Bitter finds a way to still blame Trump. That’s TDS. Sue me.
Harris wasn’t even accommodating enough to let the Vance’s into the DC VP residence beforehand to preview it. The Dems have really shown a very ungracious side of themselves lately, thru this and the questions being asked during these ongoing confirmation hearings.
The Biden Administration has spent 15 months trying to stop Israel from destroying Hamas. Even Joe’s people have said the holdup has been Hamas. Trump is re-elected and vows to destroy Hamas if hostages are not released by inauguration day. Suddenly, the hostages will be released.
So, according to Bitter, Trump is “at fault” for a “bad deal” (according to him) because he’s the guy who finally leaned on Israel?
Bitter needs to put down the crack pipe. This is Robbie-level TDS…..
I honestly thought that they would allow the fires to continue in the mountain areas around LA for a while, just to show two things: 1) its been beyond the power of humans to stop all along, and 2) to milk the climate change angle a little longer.
But now that it seems the fires are mostly out, it begs the question, if it was possible to put the fires out NOW, why weren’t they put out back when they started, and before 10,000 structures and dozens of people were incinerated?
The Cult routinely trashes other past Republican Presidents, current Republicans and SCOTUS Justices but claim I have lost it because I am justly critical of one action by Trump.
I think that Trump should have told Hamas “You should take whatever deal Israel offers before January 20. 2025. Seriously.”
BREAKING UPDATE: It turns out… Speaker Mike Johnson kicked Congressman Mike Turner off of the Intel Committee after *Trump* requested it – WaPo Turner voted against the censure of Adam Schiff. Trump booted an establishment shill.

A diplomat briefed on the ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas credited progress in the talks in part to the influence of President-elect Donald Trump, saying it was “the first time there has been real pressure on the Israeli side to accept a deal.

the first time there has been real pressure on the Israeli side to accept a deal.
So Trump is selling out Israel by putting pressure on it. Pathetic.
The pressure should been put on Hamas to give up all hostages or the US would aid Israel in destroying it.

That’s what it seems like to me. They’ve been captive for 15 months, and nothing happens until a few days before Trump comes in, and after Trump tells Hamas and Iran he’s gonna wreck the joint.
Yet Bitter finds a way to still blame Trump. That’s TDS. Sue me.
