On a similar note, name somebody you wish. you never knew For me, it is my wife’s college boyfriend. I used to see him at parties hosted by my wife’s best friend from college. He is handsome, Jewish and a successful lawyer.
The only reason I stopped seeing him is that he was more the friend of my wife’s friend’s ex-husband and he stopped coming to parties after the couple got divorced. They got divorced because the ex-husband had a relationship with an underage softball player who was one of his students.
My wife claimed the ex-boyfriend was a jerk. But I know he is out there being handsome, Jewish and successful.

My social director (aka wife) has been livid with me.
She claims to on various days she calls me but I will never answer. She says I will be the LAST person she calls if there is an emergency. She has demanded that I go get my hearing checked.
I discovered that somehow my phone got put on vibrate only, and have now rectified all that.

People who you wish you never met?
–Maybe the gal I was going with when I was a senior in college (who dumped her long-time, hometown boyfriend who was at U. of PA) who broke it off with him, became my girlfriend and then 8 months later dumped me to go back to her old boyfriend, He is a successful lawyer in KY and they are still married.
-Maybe the 3 guys armed with a rifle who I scuffled with after they broke into our hotel room in the Bahamas on the last night of our honeymoon and stole $14 and my college class ring. I told them the airline tickets, travelers checks were of no value to them).
–I went to high school with a guy (was on wrestling team with me) who years later slit a woman’s throat (non-relative) and killed her. He always had a very bad temper. Went to prison for life. Died a couple years ago.
–I know the WV delegate elect (deSoto) who is in jail now for threatening to kill a bunch of legislators–(but POLITICIANS don’t count…)
–A college fraternity brother became a CPA and bilked hundreds of thousands of dollars from clients. He also was robbing banks in the D.C. area and got caught doing that. Long prison sentence. He was a really nice guy, well thought of, etc. and nobody EVER expected he would do such things.
