It had to be the uniforms, nobody can win with that color.

  8. And if you were to ask me who the nominee will be in 2028, it would be JD Vance. Alright? He’s smart, well-spoken, a part of the MAGA movement.

Tapper interjected by confronting Romney with previous criticism of Vance, which Romney quickly brushed off, saying:

And if you were to ask me who the nominee will be in 2028, it would be JD Vance. Alright? He’s smart, well-spoken, a part of the MAGA movement.

I’m not going to rehash history, and we’ve worked together in the Senate together since then.”

Romney realizes he won’t be on TV much from now on, so he doesn’t have to kiss the MSM’s ass.

  9. Yep, that is how the cookie crumbles…

“Donald Trump won. He won overwhelmingly. He said what he was going to do, and that’s what he’s doing. I mean, people are saying, ‘oh, I don’t like this appointment or this policy that he’s talking about,’” Romney said. “But those are the things he said he was going to do when he ran. So you can’t complain about someone who does what he said he was going to do.”

“And I agree with him on a lot of policy fronts. I disagree with him on some things. But it’s like, OK, give him a chance to do what he said he’s going to do and see how it works out,” the GOP senator added.

The drones have the same investigative urgency as to what happened in 1969 when Ted Kennedy ended up under water in an upside-down car with a young woman who drowned.

  15. Trump is having an informative, wide-ranging press conference at Mar a Lago this morning. He sounds like a Rhodes Scholar compared to the current “POTUS.” He seems much more measured in his tone and delivery than during his first term.

Going back to the last thread…Trump’s statement about pardons was that he would address it on day one, and that the vast majority of J6ers were non violent. These would be the ones receiving pardons —-> “the vast majority.” While Jason and Bitter constantly advocate for people in another country, I feel the same way about people in our country, caught up in a government-orchestrated event, imposing unfair sentencing, separation from families, destruction of their businesses, with little concern in giving them speedy trials, making available exonerating evidence, and due process. IMO, these people are the true “patriots” of our time.

It is amazing that the J6 protestors were forced to leave their homes to travel to DC, forced to go into the Capitol, and forced to trespass and commit crimes all without any control over their own actions.

Nah, people who trespass on government property, attack police officers, destroy public property and steal public and private property are not patriots.

Some of them were unfairly treated, overcharged and over-sentenced.

    Both can be true.

“In a shocking move, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced Monday she’s resigning from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet — just hours before she was set to deliver the government’s fall economic statement.

It’s a disastrous development for the government that throws its economic agenda into a tailspin and leaves a huge gap on Trudeau’s front bench at a time when Liberal Party support has collapsed in the polls.

Freeland’s jaw-dropping move to leave just before tabling the economic statement is unprecedented. The statement is supposed to be the government’s fiscal road map at a time of great uncertainty, as Canada stares down president-elect Donald Trump’s tariff threat.”

  24. Jason/Bitter you’re so determined to stick with your foolish script about events on J6. However, even the Chief of Capitol Police felt ignoring the 32 calls made for help, along with Pelosi’s indifference and prior refusal of National Guard assistance, made no sense. His unanswered questions included why the national guard didn’t show up to the Capitol Building until 6PM, when they were within sight of the Capitol and were called at 2PM? Why was intelligence not shared with him? Why was the Select Committee not interested in hearing his testimony, nor others directly in charge of security. The questions go on and on….but all Bitter and Jason chirp about are the nasties of those who “trespassed!”

  27. It’s refreshing to have someone like Mike Lee questioning the cherry-picked film used to mold people’s opinions (Jason/Bitter) about the J6 set-up. Unbiased minds are able to discern when events just don’t add up to be legitimate. Also, the IG report did not report on the many cut-outs that infiltrated the crowd that day.

Jan – Why did they go inside the Capitol? What was their intention?

    Like

  33. Sigh, Bitter…..By the time Trump’s speech was over and people walked over to the Capitol Building the flash grenades, rubber bullets had already agitated the crowd. Barricades had been pushed aside, the doors were open and some policemen were actively waving people to go inside, even accompanying them, like a docent, thru the building. That’s why some people went inside…..like those who protested the Kavanaugh hearings did. The biggest reason why this was seen as orchestrated, though, was the intentional lack of security, followed by the intentional delay of National Guard getting to the site for 4 hours. Cops from NJ arrived before the DC National Guard was deployed.
