So was Trump better off losing in 2020?
He would have had a hostile House and Senate, would have had to govern by EO, but probably would have accomplished very little.
Now he has a R House and Senate and is a lot smarter about the challenges he faces (hopefully).
Yeah, we won’t get back the trillions in boondoggles and pork or the many judges Schumer pushed through. Or some of the lives in Ukraine/Middle East had Trump been President.
But as far as implementing his agenda, good or bad, it seems like he came out ahead.

What about the law enforcement that attacked the rioters. It’s not just the two that died. The tear gas and flash grenades were illegal. Pretty dumb to discharge tear gas given tight and windy conditions.

There were 100K+ people at the Trump rally. While still speaking, the violence at the Capitol started. Those who were fighting cops and breaking things should be held to account.
By the time the majority of people who came into the building arrived, the mayhem had subsided and the authorities were waving people thru the doors, and it stayed orderly.
Other than those who committed acts of violence and vandalism, nobody else should have been sought by the authorities.
It was tyrannical government overreach, the press in their silence played a part, as did the disgusting D.C. court system.
Yes, if I had been there, I would have thought long and hard about going into that building. I definitely would have asked permission of one of the guards at the door, and since we all have phones on us, attempted to get them on camera saying Yes, to make sure someone in authority was allowing me to enter.

Yesterday there was a school shooting in Madison, WI; and very shortly after the shooter was ID’d we knew a whole lot about her. Why do we know more about the events yesterday in Madison than we do about the kid who shot Trump in Butler? The Madison Police Chief described everything they did and why. The Secret Service did nothing like that. Why the difference?
