Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh · 15m BREAKING: Pennsylvania Democrats APPEAL the PA Supreme Court decision that just ordered the halting of counting illegal ballots.
if you are NOT competent to follow directions, then don’t vote by mail. Show up on election day, and fill out the ballot, and push it through the scanner.
So with the example of the Dems counting illegal votes in PA, this is an example of why so many people say there is a threat to democracy.
But the threat to rule of law, the constitution and democracy itself comes from the DEMS.
++++
Was there every any polling done BEFORE THE ELECTION to separate out the part of there 26% or whatever of Americans who felt there “was a threat to democracy” as to how many felt the threat was coming from the DEMs and how many felt it was coming from the Trump side?
Shapiro throws the county commissioners under the bus.
The Department of State had advised counties repeatedly of their duty to segregate challenged provisional ballots and undated ballots in anticipation of a ruling by the court,” Mr. Shapiro said. “The court has now ruled on the counting of these ballots specific to the Nov. 5, 2024, election, and I expect all county election officials to adhere to this ruling and all the applicable laws governing our elections.”
Justice P. Kevin Brobson wrote in a concurring opinon that he wanted “to disabuse local elections officials of the notion that they have the authority to ignore Election Code provisions that they believe are unconstitutional.”
agreed Bitter. So now he throws someone else under the bus to play Mr Election Integrity because the election in 2028 is more important to him than helping Casey retain his seat
Scary that 3 of the hacks on the PA SC dissented. What was there to dissent?
I actually read the dissent. It stated that the lower courts should handle it first. I guess the reasoning was that by then maybe Casey could be declared the winner.
That’s the problem I have with Liberals on the court, goes especially for the SC. You will know how Liberals vote in 99.5% of all cases without even hearing them. I don’t even know why they sit in on oral arguments sometimes. They will always toe the party line. Republicans are the wild card
Right. It should have been a 7-0 vote. The ruling had already been made. Some county boards tried to ignore it.
Why would you vote against enforcing you own ruling. Even if you disagreed with the original ruling, you should be concerned about the preserving the legitimacy of the court.

The effort to steal the election from Dave McCormick (R) continues.

NEW: The Casey campaign and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee file a lawsuit challenging the rejection of 2,000+ provisional ballots in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania with signature or envelope issues. no wonder they are appealing. The ruling today would wipe out 2000 Casey ballots just in Philly.

He added that “any insinuation that our laws can be ignored or do not matter is irresponsible and does damage to faith in our electoral process.”

There is more. Throwing out these ballots statewide increases the margin to more than what triggers a recount.

The margin would go up to almost 24,000.

and its not just this PA Senate race. Invalid ballots skew the results of Trump’s PA margin and other statewide races

The only downside is that this allows Shapiro to add to his fake moderate image.

Casey probably thought the Dems on the Supreme Court would do his bidding. Like I said, don’t tell a court GFY.

Casey thought he was entitled to those votes because of his family name.
