Harris is a really bad candidate.
Way too liberal as a senator; ran a terrible campaign in 2020; although she pivoted toward more moderate positions in 2024, she never explained her terrible positions in 2020; Walz was a terrible VP pick and she should have chosen Shapiro; she couldn’t answer basic questions without fumbling her words; etc; erc.
Worst of all, she never gave voters her vision for the future. It was just trump this, trump that.
A decent dem candidate would have won.
Mostly, I blame Biden for depriving dems of a contested primary and the opportunity to pick a more electable candidate (it certainly would not have been Harris)

If Trump wins and Rs get Senate, a close House, while not ideal, is ok to work with.
Several of those will vote for Republican policy proposals on energy, no mandates for electric vehicles, illegal immigration issues.
Of course, all of the investigations will ground to a halt, so Pelosi and Schumer will be celebrating that
