This TIPP poll is huge. Just days ago was Harris +4, then it dropped to 3, then 2, then 1, now Trump +2

Republicans on first day crushed Dems in Clark and elsewhere in early voting, lead by almost 2 to 1 statewide.

  7. Makes sense, Dw. I do think this was a bad couple of weeks for quemala. She started bad with the appearances on her friendly shows, which were disastrous. It continued with the Brett bare interview. Then, she had the slurring and anger speech. Then yesterday, the 6 minute speech. Surprisingly, Doltz has not hurt her, but he is due to hurt her.

I do think that for every misstep, trumps ad team has been brilliant. This is the most effective response team since 2004.

And trump has been focused on illegal immigration/open borders, economy, inflation, and world not treating us with respect. He has not been sidetracked yelling at the Rosie o dumbbells, etc.

Xi made his comments while visiting a brigade of the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force on Thursday, according to state-run broadcaster CCTV.”

Could Xi decide to invade Taiwan before the November 5th election, knowing how weak the response would be from a dilapidated Biden/Harris administration?

    Like

  42. I do not think so since there is no secure way to know what the response of the administration would be. It could very well result in a full retaliatory strike in response, out of desperation from Komrade Kamala because its apparent to most, including her, that she’s losing, and this may be her only way to stay in power.

The result of an attack, and response, has global consequences that could, without hyperbole, result in a large scale multi nation war that could leave millions upon millions dead. Including Americans.

However, what he earned in that Townhall was respect for the long Q & A segment following the distribution of that check. We have, however, ensured that they have received weaponry allocated, but never used, to other nations, stock that is overseas in place that, again, will never use them, or even funnier, old Soviet and Russian made arms that were in the possession of allies, that were sent to Ukraine to push back the unprovoked attack from Russia.

So, to be clear, one…we are not getting into a shooting war with China in the next few weeks. two, if we did, we would be prepared. If we ever got to the level where we needed the weapons used to help push back against the Russian invasion of a sovereign, peaceful country, then we would be in a lot more trouble than anyone here is prepared for.

If Harris loses I think this would present the dem party an opportunity to restructure itself into a more moderated opposition party, with leaders having an ideological agenda more in sync with JFK than the Marxist-espousing one of Harris. I can’t really think of anyone, though, in the dem leadership of today who could take on that role – especially in the list of names Vic gave. Actually, before RFK Jr joined Trump I felt he might have a chance in 2028 to head a new, improved coalition of Dems.

Also, I think if Trump/Vance are successful in winning the presidency, making dramatic changes into turning our path away from debt, censorship while maintaining constitutional freedoms vs tyranny, the Republican Party will become reconfigured to primarily represent the people’s wishes vs being dictated to by an ever-expanding, encroaching government.

  68. Vic no one is saying RFK jr is a centrist, let alone a conservative. However, his stances are left of center and not far left. As for his opinions on big pharma, many of them are true, especially how they circumvented doing proper safety checks for the vaccine, and distorted much of the data derived from the clinical trials they did do, as exposed by whistle blowers. He aligns with the populists on more than big pharma issues too. He has stated many times about supporting border security and not getting involved in foreign wars – a stance that used to be fodder for most dem protest movements until now.

I agree there will be lots of manufactured turmoil by the Dems should Harris lose. If the Senate and House are not also secured by republicans should Trump win, his 4-year term will be turbulent. However, if there is a trifecta, with the Senate, House, Executive Branch all secured by republicans, the chaos of defeat will subside much sooner. As far as the left gaining full control of the country….that remains to be seen in how much reform can be legislatively established (not fleetingly done by EOs alone) during Trump’s term in office.

My biggest concern is that millions of people are thrown into antidepressants and then left on them in perpetuity; that’s ridiculous, because the purposes of those medicines is to help patients navigate the challenges of CBT, which can take anywhere from six months to almost two years to be effective, and gradually wean said patients off of the meds. Instead, almost no one goes to therapy, and with the blessing of their physicians and Big Pharma, stay hooked on all sorts of awful treatments. I’ve seen this in my own family, and the results are not pretty (many antidepressants also contraindicated when combined with the hideous cocktails of other meds that Americans are hooked on).

If he wanted to kill the onlookers, he could have skipped the field and killed a lot more people in the grandstands.

He was there to shoot the congressmen.

As a “mass shooter”, he was an abject failure. He only managed to shoot 4 people, none fatally.

Trump was already winning the election but that McDonalds drive thru campaign stop was the single greatest piece of campaign propaganda in American history and he is going to start running away with it now.

Besides, shooting the Dems in the stands wouldn’t make sense.

The proof is in the pudding. He shot 4 people on the field.

  100. im confused, and I think maybe you both are Bitter and Jason.

I believe DW was referring to the Trump assassination attempt in PA, not the Scalise shooting when he said the shooter was there to shoot at the crowd and decided to shoot at Trump because of the lack of security.

    DW??

  102. Nah, I have to agree at least half way with Tina on the McDonalds photo shoot. It was a great piece of campaigning….too early to tell what difference does it make….but it somehow and someway doesn’t picture Trump as some kind of Hitler and some kind of dictator that some on the left label him.

I would give the photo shoot with Trump at the McDonalds with along his drive thru an A at this point.

  103. yes, Bongino had inside info leaked from colleagues he had when he was a secret service agent, and the kid was apparently going to shoot up the crowd, but found out he could get a clear line of fire at Trump so he took that instead

  104. DW, I think they conflated that with the Scalise shooting. You were both talking about different things.

  105. LA is taking way too many chances with the Mets; they may be a paper tiger, but even paper tigers can win.

The McDonald’s stunt had one purpose; to remind people that Kamala likely lied about her alleged college job. Now Trump can say that unlike Harris, he knows what it’s like in a service industry job.

  106. GF – game over. 6-1 in the third. Sorry, even the Mets aren’t coming back from that. I really hope the Dodgers have enough pitching to beat the Yankees. They truly represent the devil and all that is bad in the world. Nothing is worse than a Yankees fan. Nothing.

  107. The McDonals things is awesome.

Look the left is now pushing his age, his medical records, etc because they have nothing else in the tank. This car ran out of gas, much like 1988.

Everyone thought Dukakis was going to win for a long time and then the tank happened, people started to look at his policies more and he faded
