Haven’t heard from Research Company during this election year so far. Four years ago, their final poll of MI was Trump 43, Biden 50, off 4 in favor of Biden.
They had OH tied at 47, off 8 in favor of Biden.
They had PA at Trump 44, Biden 50, off 5 in favor of Biden.
They had WI at Trump 42, Biden 50, off 7 in favor of Biden.

There are so many anecdotal stories coming out about FEMA confiscating donations of supplies from the private sector meant for victims of Helene. A friend of mine from SC was telling me yesterday that community ties in the Carolinas are very tight, used to helping each other out during these catastrophic times. She remembers, when she lived in SC, going on buses to areas brutalized by storms and helping to clean up water/mud-damaged houses. People depended more on each other than just waiting for the government to pitch in. In fact, many people are saying FEMA’s response has not only been too little too late, but they also have gotten in the way of the real workers – reserving hotel space for FEMA workers not working, etc.

so that brings us back to the question around these polls compared to 2020…
a) ALL of these 2020 left-leaning pollsters have cleaned up their act and are now putting out accurate polls.
b) NONE of these 2020 left-leaning pollsters have cleaned up their act, and are going to miss badly again.
c) A few have cleaned up their act in some states, but most of them have not and are going to badly miss.
Its probably C, as we saw the Suffolk Trump +6 in AZ, and Quinnipiac’s poll of GA, and a few others. Some have probably cleaned up their act a little bit. But most are probably just using the same methodology, meaning when they say Trump is down 3 in Michigan, he’s probably up 1, (using this Research company poll as an example. ) Down 2 in WI means up 5, and so on.

Ignore my last comment. Research Company (Vancouver, BC) posted a national poll that had Harris up 52-47%. This online poll even had Harris ahead 47-45% on the economy and almost tied with crime 44-45%.
