I wish I had polls to post, but I don’t. The last many weeks polling has been 7 days a week because we are so close to the election. But yesterday was almost nothing for polls, and today its totally nothing. Not sure why.
President Trump, American hero and the best President since Reagan, returns to Butler today to show the world that Americans, and those of us that love this country, will not hide from this fight for our country.
If you cannot support him, fine. But offer prayers for his protection and those at the rally. After all, he is fighting for all of us, even you.
Hurricane Helene hit especially hard in heavily Republican areas of Georgia and North Carolina — a fact that could work to Donald Trump’s disadvantage in the two swing states.
The challenge for Trump: The parts of western North Carolina and eastern Georgia that were flooded by the monster storm are largely Republican. In 2020, he won 61 percent of the vote in the North Carolina counties that were declared a disaster after Helene. He won 54 percent of the vote in Georgia’s disaster counties.”
Some other A-holes are GF, Phil, wvally, MD, Mr. Vito, Brandon…. There is a pending application for Chicon. We could always extent a posthumous honorary A-hole status to wes, he had definite A-hole traits, but he was never interested so we won’t sully his memory.
How do you think the $750 from FEMA for help for hurricane victims (that has 10 days of delay according to reports) vs free hotels and gift cards for illegals plays with the country? Something tells me there will be widespread disgust.
Is there anything negative about Trump nobody knows about yet?
Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is planning to more aggressively attack former President Donald Trump in the remaining weeks ahead of the November election, a new phase aimed at trying to move the small number of undecided voters her way, according to five Harris campaign officials.
The change is driven, in part, by internal campaign data showing that sharper messaging against Trump could persuade some still-unsure Americans to support Harris, according to three of the campaign officials. The effort is set to include new ads and harsher language on the campaign trail that highlights Trump’s past actions and rhetoric that Harris officials hope will tip these voters away from backing the former president.”
Of course, negative ads must work, there are so many of them
“planning to more aggressively attack former President Donald Trump”
More aggressive than having your surrogates call him Hitler so many times that it resulted in two assassination attempts? More aggressive than having your surrogates use lawfare to try to throw him in jail after trying to bankrupt him?
Are the going to use a suitcase nuke to make sure they get him?
Went to a street festival in Ambler, Montgomery County, PA. Saw a large Trump tent. Next to it was a smaller Democrat. There were people walking around with signs. Both campaigns are marketing to demographics where they are weakest. The Harris signs were carried by middle-aged men. The Trump signs were carried by women with babies in strollers.
In Butler today there ARE snipers on the sloped roofs. Wait! I thought that the disgraced secret service director said it wasn’t safe to put snipers on these roofs?
FOUR times since August 1st, MICHIGAN has been polled by one of the three traditional Michigan-Only pollsters. These are the pollsters designed to specialize in ONE state, like Selzer in Iowa, or the Sooner Poll in Oklahoma. Michigan has three like this:
EPIC/MRA
Mitchell Research
Glengariff Group
Just for context, Biden won the state in 2020 by a gap of 2.78. The final poll of each of these pollsters in 2020 was:
Mitchell Research: Trump 45 / Biden 52 –Off 4.22 in favor of Biden.
EPIC-MRA: Trump 41 / Biden 48 –Off 4.22 in favor of Biden.
Glengariff: Trump 42 / Biden 49 –Off 4.22 in favor of Biden
ALL THREE of the Michigan specialist pollsters favored Biden by 4.22 against the file result.
In the four times these three pollsters have polled Michigan since August 1, they found 1 tie, and three polls with a 1 point lead for Trump.
“unmarried women” — this group is absolutely DESPERATE to make the federal government their god, father, and husband, in that order. They desperately want to be told when to get up, when to eat, and when to go to bed.
They desperately want their god, father, and husband to control every aspect of society, end free speech, and stand ready to rip as many babies from their wombs as desired, no matter how late the pregnancies.
They want to live like barnyard animals, being completely cared for, but with no moral responsibility for their behavior.

DW, it only reinforces your comment, which is one of the most truly accurate statements about the women that support the left. They really look at the govt as their daddy, their “leadership” figure. It is their religion, their alpha, their security.
one more thing about the unmarried women….remember when Harris replaced Biden, there were many Republicans saying how Democrats would be outraged that they had an appointed nominee, without a single primary vote. But that was Republicans casting themselves into that situation. unmarried women DON’T CARE and would just as soon be told who their champion is, rather than picking one.
Where was this pitcher when he was with the Mets….though I remember when they got him, he was good and they thought he would be the next best thing, but got hurt some, and couldn’t find the strike zone a lot.

cant believe its only a month until election day. Compared to other elections this one seems to have been a marathon, maybe because we knew who would be running since the day after the last election (though the coup d’etat changed it a bit). We do know the GOP will have another nominee top of the ticket next time…and If (hopefully) Komrade Kamala loses, then both would have different people at the top of the ticket.

I’m finding the Butler interviews of random crowd members the most interesting. Lots of first time rally people and teens who seem politically savvy. Being a small farming community you get the sense these are strong-minded, hard working, religious members of society representative of the American spirit we seem to be losing under liberal authoritarianism. Anyway, it’s refreshing to hear what really matters to them, as well as their general perspective of domestic and world problems.
My very close friend who is a reliable Republican and I met for coffee this morning to catch up on life. He shared with me how excited he was that his vote for the first time in his marriage won’t be cancelled out by hers. She doesn’t like Harris at all and will vote for Trump.
That’s a least one suburban Mom in Trumps column.
Based on the polls and how unpopular Harris is I think Trump will win bigly. There are just so many things that favor Trump in a change election.
I just can’t believe the election is this close. Other than the standard far left liberals, I don’t see anyone excited to vote for her. She’s hidden the entire time she’s been the “nominee”…refuses to do any real interviews. No one has asked her a tough question, especially why should people believe her when she’s been in power for three and half years (according to Biden).
How is she within five percent against a successful President. Oh right…it’s Trump
Well…I have tickets to game 3 & 4 of the Tigers ALDS series. Skubal pitching a must win game Monday. They better sign him longterm this offseason. Hope Boros isn’t his agent.
Mets do not do well against left handers. Plus, the Phillies still have the 9nth. This is the Mets. They blew SIX, yes SIX 5 run leads and lost this year. It isn’t over until both teams are actually in the clubhouse for good.
Fortunately no place for Alonso on the Phillies. They have enough DH’ers and 1B. Im afraid of the Cubs signing him…or Texas. They seem to always take our good players.
Can also see the Red Sox making a play. My Lord, can you imagine Alonso in Chicago or Boston.
OMG one of the worst trades in baseball history. Gave away the best defensive center fielder in the game in Crow-Armstrong for the total PS. I think he’s struck out while we are talking…or made an error.
The prevailing sentiment was we’re all in on PA, And if we win PA, we’re automatically winning MI and WI — but there’s nothing automatic about winning MI,” said state Sen. Darrin Camilleri. “All of us hoped on the D side that having a new, younger, forward-looking nominee would fundamentally change this race and she’d be leading by 5%, but that is just not the case. There’s a lot of anxiety about the strength of Trump’s brand here, and MI Democrats are coming back to reality about it.”
JUST IN: Ohio judges rule against arrest warrants for Donald Trump and JD Vance after a criminal complaint was filed over spreading “false claims” about Haitian migrants eating pets.
Kamala will be thrilled she is “interlocked” with Biden
“Can you talk about how your vice president, who is running for the presidency, has worked on these crises and what role she has played over the past several days?”
Biden:
“Well, she’s — I’m in constant contact with her,” he replied. “She’s aware… we’re all… we’re singing from the same song sheet. We — she helped pass all the laws that are being deployed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation we were told we could never pass. And she’s been, and… her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing.”
Is trump beginning his close? Remember, he did this in 2016 and 2020. Covid hit him at the end if September/early October jn 2020,,so he fell a bit, and then closed.
To be clear – Kamala Harris' campaign-suicidal post this evening focusing on LEBANON while major disaster rescues and recovery are underway is an admission she is losing Michigan right now. pic.twitter.com/9khg6N7yf5
Yep that was it. I forgot to post the link. Oh well, I thought I was alone here. I was tired of talking to myself. I didn’t know Jason was here in spirit.
Real America’s Voice (RAV) @RealAmVoice · 2h Rassmussen Polls favors President @RealDonaldTrump heavily with Hispanic voters—62% for Trump and 34% for Kamala.
The Return to Butler event I think is a pivot point for the Trump’s campaign. It was less a rally than a consolidation of people coming together around a man they wanted to win the election. It was reflective, had good will, was spectacularly organized with patriotic visuals and higher security measures everywhere. Elon Musk, sitting with Vance, got up and gave a seriously articulate and rousing speech. He definitely has super credibility for all he has done post Helene, especially in comparison to FEMA and Harris.
Genuine empathy was expressed throughout the speeches for the people hurt and one killed at the 7/13 rally, creating an amicable closeness most political events can never achieve. At the end, it was dusk, people were still energized, lingering around because of an opera singer on stage. I got the feeling that the success of today’s event would infuse the Trump campaign right up to Election Day.

I kind of feel sorry for Dick Cheney, a man I actually admired while he was in office.
Half the country despises him for selling out every conservative he ever had to support Kamala Harris.
The other half despises him for what he used to stand for and are using him as a pathetic prop to be discarded like garbage after the election.

Well…I have tickets to game 3 & 4 of the Tigers ALDS series. Skubal pitching a must win game Monday. They better sign him longterm this offseason. Hope Boros isn’t his agent.

Not necessarily Bitter. And even if it is, Alonso will probably be playing for the Phillies next year and hit 54 homers.

Series is far from over. Only thing this does is guarantee two games in New York.
BTW, I don’t recall saying anything negative about the Phillies, in fact, I lauded their pitcher.

”Is trump beginning his close? ”
