Political pollster Matt Towery suggested that former President Donald Trump is running “way ahead” of where he was during the 2020 election cycle.
The fact Trump is ahead of polling for both 2020 and 2016 is a comforting thought when you look at all the polls favoring Kamala.
But again, it assumes the same polling error and bias of 2016 and 2020 exists in 2024. Maybe it does, maybe it even probably does, but there in no guarantee.

Bitter, if Harris wins the election I’ll be bummed, depressed, burned out on politics that go the wrong way. So, I relish every positive glimmer that people may be waking up and voting for Trump/Vance and those down ticket from them. You don’t know me, but hoping for the best outcome, being grateful for news or trends that support such an outcome is just who I am….having nothing to do with being in anyone’s world.

If Kamala wins we will be a completely socialist nation within 10 years. Because of the structural changes in voting laws, immigration, control of the media, etc. there is little likelyhood this could be reversed.
If Trump wins we get a delay. If Rs also win the Senate the judicial picks on the federal bench and possibly SCOTUS will help stave it off.
The problem is the educational system that is producing massive amounts of far leftist permeating all levels of government, business, the military. Unless this is reversed, which is also unlikely, our future is Kamala’s agenda, sooner or later.
At my age, I would settle for the delay. My kids will have to live under socialism.
