“Reputable polls”?
That is remarkably close to the old HHR tradition of cherry picking polls and only wanting to accept polls that fit the “we are winning” narrative.
Looking at the RCP average I see a sea of blue polls, and only 3 lonely red ones. Maybe only the red ones are “reputable”, but RCP is hardly a left wing site and their average is used by a lot of MSM sources.

jason, I am taking about Big Village out with a Harris +8 poll, and the very inaccurate pollster from 2020, Morning Consult showing +6, and those with similar numbers, that also have Biden approval suddenly looking great. There are many reputable pollsters showing anything from a narrow Trump lead to a Harris lead of 3 or even 4, but in most of those scenarios, Trump wins the electoral college. Flip GA and PA = 270.

Evidently a lot of terrorists literally lost their balls.
“Sean Moorhouse, a former British Army officer and explosive ordnance disposal expert, said videos of the blasts suggested a small explosive charge — as small as a pencil eraser — had been placed into the devices. They would have had to have been rigged prior to delivery, very likely by Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence agency, he said.
Elijah J. Magnier, a Brussels-based senior political risk analyst, said he spoke with Hezbollah members who had examined pagers that failed to explode. What triggered the blasts, he said, appeared to be an error message sent to all the devices that caused them to vibrate, forcing the user to click on the buttons to stop the vibration. The combination detonated a small amount of explosives hidden inside and ensured that the user was present when the blast went off, he said.”

As Ann Coulter points out often, white men w/o a college degree did not come out as forcefully for Trump in 2020 as they did in 2016. Hopefully, Vance will re-energize that vote.
Also, Hillbilly Elegy was a pretty big hit when it was released, and got Vance favorable press. Women don’t forget the emotional response they had to that book. Hopefully it will translate into giving Trump a 2nd look.

Not sure why jason is arguing about what already happened back in those 3+ years with Trump before covid.
Wages were also going up, for the lowest paid workers.

Sure they did. You are an idiot talking about items that didn’t have tariffs like gas.
When you increase taxes, and you make goods more expensive, which was absolutely th result of Trump’s stupid tariffs and trade wars, you hurt the people less likely to be able to afford the increases.

Reagan imposed (wrongly) some very limited tariffs. I would have opposed them too.

“A worldwide 10 percent tariff and a 60 percent tariff on Chinese goods proposed by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would lower average after-tax incomes of US households in 2025 by about $1,800, or 1.8 percent, according to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center. And of course, reduce the employment of all of those involved in the transportation, sales, marketing, promotion, etc. of such products. The stores used to sell them, the advertising, the whole supply chain. It would reduce the tax base and reduce wealth.

If a product cost goes up, but other inputs to the final cost of an item go down, then the final cost may be lower than before, which is what happened in many cases back from 2017-202, which is why the economy was so good…….
