BREAKING: The RNC has filed a lawsuit against the North Carolina Board of Election for multiple election law violations, including failure to remove non-citizens from their voter rolls and REFUSING to provide copies of the rolls for review State law requires county clerks to alert the Board of Elections about anyone excused from jury duty because they aren’t citizens. The point of the law is to allow a seamless cross-referencing between the names on the voter rolls and the people eligible for jury duty. If someone isn’t eligible for jury duty, clearly, they’re also not eligible to vote. This is common sense, but the Democrat officials are refusing to follow the law The Board also rejected the RNC’s request to see copies of the state’s voter rolls and other maintenance records. The State’s Public Records Act allows voters and interested organizations to access and review the voter rolls, and refusing to turn them over is blatantly illegal. The RNC is asking the court to issue an injunction against the board to (1) force them to comply with the Public Records Act and (2) to work with the clerks to remove the noncitizens from the voter rolls Ask yourself. Why would the board be withholding the voter rolls? Are they terrified we will find thousands of noncitizens registered to vote as we have in other states?

First off, I am not lying. However, I subjectively, in some cases, and objectively in other instances, differ with you.
The initial “peace agreement” between Putin and Zelenskyy has been downplayed by those favoring kinetic action between the two countries. If it had not been for Johnson and Kerry intervening, hundreds of thousands of lives would have been saved, villages and communities in Ukraine would have been left standing, and families on both sides of the war would still be more intact.
I don’t care a fiddle-leaf if money was made by armament manufacturers in this country because of our military aid. I also question the excuse that only old, useless equipment went over there. Why, for instance, are we experiencing shortages of missiles, ammunition and the sort? It takes years to rebuild our armaments as we no longer have the manufacturing capacity like Russia now has, or China for that matter. Many military experts have come forward saying we no longer have the capability to fight a one-front war with China, let alone the many fronts now brewing all across the world.
Yes, we are fighting a proxy war with Russia, similar to Iran funding terrorists to
create havoc for us in the ME – called a proxy war by us. The tanks, long range missiles, bombs and most of the armaments used by Ukraine to fight the Russians are ours. We also have advisors in Ukraine, using our Intel for their benefit, and may even have had a part in the Nor-stream pipeline sabotage.
I have never said the money saved by not funding Ukraine would be spent for our benefit here. Of course, with a dem administration there was no chance of that! However, such a rationale does not validate spending money we don’t have, money that belabors our own debt, encumbering us with higher interest payments while our own national security vulnerabilities increase by the day.
Differing on policy and how worthwhile it is to extend, rather than stop the bleeding war causes people in general, is not lying, Vic. It’s a difference of opinion, and in a broader sense “heart.”

The “Peace Agreement” was in May 2022. It was a time when Russia controlled a large part of Ukraine. It was prior to Ukraine’s counteroffensive that gained 60% of more of the land back. YOU DON’T MAKE AN AGREEMENT AT A POINT OF WEAKNESS. Any idea that the agreement would have been good for Ukraine is a complete Russian propaganda win.

I have to question the strategy of Taiwan in the bottom of the 8th inning. The regulation game is 6 innings. The 7th inning has the same rules. If it goes to the 8th inning, the team batting starts with a runner on 2d. Taiwan did not score in the top of the 8th.
Florida then started with a runner on 2d. Taiwan’s coach should have walked the first batter to put the double play in order. However, Florida’s first batter laid down a perfect bunt. Instead of picking it up and throwing home, the pitcher threw it towards first but nobody was covering the base. Runner scored. Game over.

But, again that would have meant no profiteering for the arms industry, a Ukraine that may have divulged Biden’s corruption in that country, as well as a no guns-and-butter issue in which to distract the public’s attention from the ensuing policies Biden pursued to tear this country down – opening the border, passing the Inflation Reduction Act increasing inflation, spending frivolous money on a green energy agenda while they stymied oil production, buying oil from our enemies and reducing our oil reserves to almost nothing, and creating reasons for our enemies to form dangerous alliances (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea) with each other, jeopardizing not only our national security but also our reserve currency.
Yeah, keeping Ukraine going resulted in so many other parts of the world to weaken or fall apart. Like I said, your head is buried in the sand.

There was no peace agreement. In the months before the invasion, Russia kept saying it had no plans to invade, maybe Janzam and Neville Allen were the only persons in the West that believed it. Russia was pretending to be interested in an agreement because it needed time to build up the invasion forces and trying to lull Ukraine with false assurances.

Also, Tina, I went to a University in the Soviet Union in 1991 for a couple months and it was likely paid partly by something connected to the government. So, I am likely overly pro-Russian because of that trip.

Interesting thing, is that our Russian students we got to know then came to my college in the fall of 1991. They left the Soviet Union. But while here in the US, the Soviet Union dissolved and so they returned to the new Russia.

I was not involved in the discussions with Johnson or Kerry..no one else here was, and those online saying they knew what said were not either. The only people who know what went on were in that room. No one else. Regardless, Russia invaded. Ukraine has the right to defend itself.
You, and all these gateway pundit types are also focusing on the unimportant. The war. Not much money to be made there, despite what you think. The real money is coming from the rebuilding. If you want to follow the money, follow that money. The figures are staggering.
Point of fact. If Trump had been President there would have been no war.

Jason: Maybe you are right. I tend to think that Putin’s plans are on a calculated timescale that has little regard to who is president. And he was steadily moving troops into parts of Ukraine and near Ukraine ever since 2014 during Obama, Trump and Bidens presidencies.
