I liked the old All Star tradition of the players wearing their home uniforms at the game. Of course, with inter league play and the DH, it’s not the same. And the players are just as good or better than in the past before the haters jump in.

They said the uniforms are based on Negro League uniforms. I am fine with it. I do not agree with combining MLB and Negro League records because they did not play against each other. (although there was some mixing in barnstorming games in the off season)
I know it was a different time but WTF. Who the F did racist scumbags think they were? They weren’t better than anybody because of the color of their skin.

If you want to watch the Republican Convention Fox News is not the channel to go to. They constantly for two days now have their host talk over the people that are actually speaking at the Convention. I can’t believe I’m saying this but CNN is doing a great job of covering the Convention. They are still pro Biden but at least I can listen to most of the speakers instead of listening to the talking heads.

-Enjoy the visit! The wife, child and I were in city Sunday, took a boat tour on Hudson and East River, saw a plane flying a banner up and down all day. Banner read “Come for the king, best not miss. You missed! Trump2024!”. Made for some interesting viewings.

wish we could figure out a way to actually discuss the issues like grownups. Trump definitely has made me see that there are more than 2 ways (either FOR something or AGAINST something) to look at a certain issue. Still amazed at what was going on back in September 2020, and all of those nations signing the Benjamin Accords (Abraham Accords, of course, but wanted to see if I could trigger “CG”). The world would be a much different place if Trump had won in 2020.

I think Vance will be an asset speaking with younger voters, as he knows what is is like to struggle with money.
That said, I think a lot of these kids need to get their heads out of their phones and put their minds to whatever tasks they need to get ahead.
